Delete your account
You can delete your Oh, There It Is! account at any time. It takes about a minute.
In the app
- Open the app and tap Settings.
- In the Account box, tap Delete my account.
- Type your password and confirm.
Or here on the web
Sign in with the email and password you use for the app, and your account will be deleted.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address, your password and your plan (free or Plus).
- Any Plus subscription is cancelled first, so you are not billed again.
- If you also joined the tips list with the same email address, that address is removed too.
- We email you a confirmation when it is done.
What is not affected
- Things you saved (photos, places, notes) live only on your own phone or computer, never on our server, so deleting your account does not remove them. To clear them, open the app and tap Settings, then Erase everything. A backup file you downloaded is yours to keep.
- Plus belongs to your account, so it ends when the account is deleted. If you have a question about a purchase, email us before you delete.
- Payment records held by Stripe, and any purchase made through Google Play, are kept by those companies under their own policies.
- If you also bought a multi-app bundle from The Binder, it is billed separately and is not changed. You can manage it at thebinderapps.com/bundle.html.
Can't sign in, or only on the tips list?
Email thebinderapps@gmail.com from the address you used and we will delete your account or remove you from the tips list.
