Terms of Service
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These terms apply to The Binder family of apps — Home 360, Pet, Auto, Documents, Next Chapter, Chores4Us, Kids' Activities, Meals4Us, Trading Cards, I'm Dead, What's Next?, The Playbook, and Oh, There It Is! — and the Android app that links to them. By creating an account or using an app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps.
Your account
Most apps need a free account. Give us a real email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts that are never confirmed and never used may be deleted.
Free trials, subscriptions and billing
Most Binder apps start with a free trial (usually 7 days, no card needed). After the trial, the app's features continue on a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the app's account or "Manage billing" screen — you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices are shown before you pay. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll look into it. Some apps also offer a one-time purchase; those are described where you buy them.
Your content
What you add — items, photos, documents, notes, schedules, cards — belongs to you. You give us permission to store it and show it to you and to anyone you choose to share it with, only so the app can work. We don't sell your content. Please only add things you have the right to add, and keep your own backup of anything important; each app has export or print options where it makes sense.
Not professional advice
The apps help you organize information. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical or end-of-life planning advice. In particular, I'm Dead, What's Next? and Next Chapter provide checklists and tools, not professional guidance — talk to a qualified professional about your own situation. Values, prices and estimates (for example card prices or the estimated worth of a household item) are approximate and come from you or from public sources; we don't guarantee them.
Using the apps fairly
- Don't break the law or use the apps to harm or deceive anyone.
- Don't try to break, overload, scrape, or get around the security of the apps or their servers.
- Don't create accounts by automated means.
- Don't upload anything unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
Availability
We work hard to keep the apps running, but they are provided "as is" and "as available." Features may change, and there may be interruptions. Free features may be limited or changed over time; we'll give notice of meaningful changes to paid plans.
Ending things
You can stop using the apps and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Binder is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the apps, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept it.
